Good old-fashioned cafe food. The best cheese burgers around. The daily specials are amazing. I grew up here, so I'm a little biased. Through the years, the food is still the best around. It's hard to beat an old hometown cafe!

Perfect lunch stop on our journey West. We were looking for a locals country diner and there it was. Service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious and priced just right. Good portions and a variety of choices available.

The 4 stare I because the food is awsome but it would be 5 but I was in there a couple of weeks ago I was working and was wearing a hat that said Trump 2024 save America again and I was told by one lady cooking back there that she should charge me double cause of my hat 95 percent of the folks that dine here are farmers and Republicans and probably Trump supporters I just ask please leave your political opinions out if our transactions other than this instance the joint is amazing

If you have never been here, you need to get here. Definitely a hidden Gem. Like going back in time like it use to be. Everything is perfect. Bacon is awesome and I am the BACONATOR. Hammond, Illinois right on Rt. 36

My son and I were passing through while doing an animal shelter transport. What a great find! Had a full order of biscuits and gravy and coffee they were GREAT! Waitress was very friendly. The both of us left full for less than $20.00!

The fish on Friday nights are amazing. The staff were polite, and they did their job. Cafés are always cool, and this one is cool.

Small town cafe.. nice people and great service. It's only open until 130 but that's great for my lunch.. sometimes very busy.. have to sit with people you don't know to eat.. more community oriented
